Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

In another bowl, combine the grated carrots, melted butter, granulated sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and milk. Mix well.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.

Spoon the batter into a greased donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.

Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into a donut comes out clean.

Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and water to make a glaze.

Dip each donut into the glaze, allowing the excess to drip off.

Place the glazed donuts back on the wire rack to set.
