Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Peel and core the apples, then slice them into thin pieces.

In a bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon.

Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut each sheet into 4 triangles.

Place a few apple slices on the wide end of each triangle and sprinkle with the sugar-cinnamon mixture.

Roll up each triangle, starting from the wide end, and tuck the ends underneath to seal.

Place the rolled croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Melt the butter and brush it over the croissants.

In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush it over the croissants.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let cool.

Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
