  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Place a 10-inch cast iron skillet or oven-safe pan in the oven while preheating.
  2. In a blender, combine flour, milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until smooth.
  3. Carefully remove the hot skillet from the oven and add butter. Swirl the skillet to melt the butter and coat the bottom and sides.
  4. Pour the batter into the hot skillet and immediately return it to the oven.
  5. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the pancake is puffed and golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  7. Serve the Dutch baby pancake immediately, topped with powdered sugar, fresh fruits, or syrup.
