Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Add the granulated sugar and cocoa powder, and mix well.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and stir until well combined.

In another bowl, lightly beat the eggs and vanilla extract. Add the egg mixture to the batter and mix until smooth.

Fold in the chocolate chips.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.

Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 30 minutes.
