  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion, celery, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are soft, about 5 minutes.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the bread cubes, cooked vegetables, dried sage, dried thyme, poultry seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Pour the vegetable broth over the bread mixture and stir until evenly moistened.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg and then add it to the bread mixture. Mix until well combined.
  6. Transfer the stuffing to a greased baking dish and cover with foil.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes to allow the top to brown.
  8. Let the stuffing rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
