Marble cheesecake gets its name from the beautiful marbled effect created by swirling together plain and chocolate cheesecake batters.

Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).

In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.

Gradually add the sugar, sour cream, flour, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.

Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

In a separate bowl, mix the cocoa powder and hot water until smooth.

Pour half of the cream cheese mixture into a prepared crust.

Add the cocoa mixture to the remaining cream cheese mixture and mix well.

Pour the cocoa mixture over the plain cream cheese mixture in the crust.

Use a knife to create a marble effect by swirling the two mixtures together.

Bake for 60 minutes or until the center is set.

Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for 1 hour.

Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
