Danish Aebleskiver
Aebleskiver are a traditional Danish treat often enjoyed during the Christmas season.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, beat the egg and then add the buttermilk and melted butter. Whisk until well combined.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Heat an Aebleskiver pan over medium heat and lightly grease each well with butter.

Fill each well with batter, about 3/4 full.

Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the edges start to set.

Using a skewer or fork, carefully flip each Aebleskiver and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Remove from the pan and dust with powdered sugar.
