Curry Buns
Curry buns are a popular street food in Japan, known as ‘kare pan’. They are often enjoyed as a snack or quick meal.

In a bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, salt, and curry powder.

In a separate pan, heat oil and sauté onions until translucent. Add potatoes and peas. Cook until potatoes are tender.

Add the cooked vegetables to the flour mixture and mix well. Gradually add water to form a dough.

Knead the dough for 5 minutes, then cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.

Divide the dough into small portions and shape them into balls. Place them on a baking tray.

Brush the buns with beaten egg.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
