Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a food processor, combine the pie crust ingredients and pulse until the dough comes together. Press the dough into a pie dish, covering the bottom and sides.

In a saucepan, simmer the chestnuts in water for 20 minutes. Remove the chestnuts from the water and peel off the outer shell. Place the inner chestnut skins in a saucepan with water and simmer for 10 minutes to soften. Drain and set aside.

In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until smooth.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and then fold them into the cream cheese mixture.

Spread the chestnuts and cream cheese mixture onto the pie crust.

Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the pie is set and lightly browned.

Remove from the oven and let it rest for at least 2 hours before serving.
