In a large pot, cook the rice according to package instructions.

In a separate pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until fragrant.

Add the mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture.

Stir in the peas and vegetable broth, and simmer for 5 minutes.

Add the cooked rice to the pan and stir in the heavy cream.

Cook for an additional 5 minutes, until the mixture is creamy.

Stir in the Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Serve the creamy rice with peas and mushrooms garnished with fresh parsley.
