Heat butter in a pan over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, sauté until translucent.

Add mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and start to brown.

Sprinkle flour over the mushrooms and stir well.

Slowly pour in the vegetable broth, stirring constantly.

Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes.
