  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add warm water and mix until a dough forms. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  2. Add dried cranberries to the dough and knead until evenly distributed.
  3. Cover the dough with a clean cloth and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  5. In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add baking soda and stir until dissolved.
  6. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions. Roll each portion into a long rope and twist into a pretzel shape.
  7. Carefully dip each pretzel into the boiling water mixture for 30 seconds, then remove and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Sprinkle pretzels with coarse salt.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
