Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt, and chili pepper flakes.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.

Fold in the chopped almonds.

Shape the dough into a log and place it on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.

Reduce the oven temperature to 325°F (160°C).

Slice the log into 1/2-inch thick biscotti.

Place the biscotti back on the baking sheet and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until crispy.

Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
