  1. Line a square baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cornflakes and mixed nuts.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the dark chocolate, butter, and golden syrup over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the chocolate mixture over the cornflake and nut mixture, and stir until well coated.
  6. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and press it down evenly.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
  8. Once set, remove from the fridge and slice into squares or rectangles.
  9. Serve and enjoy!
