Compost Cookies
Compost Cookies were created by Christina Tosi, the pastry chef and owner of Milk Bar in New York City. The cookies are known for their unique combination of sweet and salty flavors, as well as the use of unconventional ingredients like potato chips and coffee grounds.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 65 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 14.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.

Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix until just combined.

Stir in the rolled oats, pretzels, chocolate chips, coffee grounds, potato chips, and butterscotch chips.

Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
