Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.

In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Add the granulated sugar and brown sugar to the melted butter and mix well. Let the mixture cool slightly.

Add the eggs one at a time to the butter and sugar mixture, stirring well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
