Cinnabon Sugar Cookies are inspired by the famous Cinnabon cinnamon rolls, but in a convenient cookie form!

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. In a separate small bowl, combine the ground cinnamon and 1/4 cup of granulated sugar.

Roll the dough into 1-inch balls, then roll each ball in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until coated. Place the coated dough balls onto a baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk to make the glaze. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cookies.
