Divide the dough into two equal portions.

Add red food coloring to one portion and green food coloring to the other portion. Mix each portion until the color is evenly distributed.

Wrap each portion in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Take a small piece of dough from each color and roll them into ropes.
