  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Gently fold in the strawberries.
  5. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared cupcake liners. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Remove cupcakes from the oven and let cool in the tin for 5 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. In a mixing bowl, beat the unsalted butter until creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, beating until light and fluffy. Fold in the marshmallow creme.
