  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. Arrange the cherries in the bottom of the dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter over the cherries.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the clafouti is set and golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
