Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Melt the chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over simmering water.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until pale and fluffy.

Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture, whisking constantly.

Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until well combined.

Pour the mixture into individual tart shells and bake for 12-15 minutes.

Allow the tarts to cool for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
