  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Crush the chocolate cookies and mix with melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
  2. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate and let it cool slightly. Pour half of the cream cheese mixture over the crust. Drizzle half of the melted chocolate over the cream cheese mixture. Use a knife to gently swirl the chocolate into the cream cheese.
  4. Repeat with the remaining cream cheese mixture and melted chocolate.
  5. Bake for 60 minutes or until the center is set. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven for 1 hour.
  6. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool completely. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  7. Serve chilled and enjoy!
