Chocolate Swirl Bread

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.

Fold in the chocolate chips.

Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the chocolate chips on top. Pour the remaining batter over the chocolate chips and sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top.

Use a knife to swirl the batter and chocolate chips together.

Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
