  1. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add all-purpose flour, ground cardamom, and salt. Mix until the dough comes together.
  3. Shape the dough into a log and wrap it in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Slice the chilled dough into 1/4 inch thick rounds and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
