Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Roll out one pie crust and place it in a pie dish.

In a saucepan, combine cherries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Cook over medium heat until thickened.

Pour the cherry filling into the pie crust.

Roll out the second pie crust and cut into strips. Create a lattice pattern on top of the pie.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and heavy cream together. Stir until smooth.
