Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Place the chocolate chip cookies in a food processor and pulse until they become fine crumbs.

Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl.

In a mixing bowl, combine the cookie crumbs and melted butter. Mix until well combined.

Press the cookie mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x9-inch baking dish.

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. Allow it to cool completely.

Spread the vanilla ice cream evenly over the cooled cookie crust.

Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top of the ice cream layer.

Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.

Once frozen, remove from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly.
