Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.

In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas.

Add melted butter, granulated sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract to the bowl. Mix well.

In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
