Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Add sugar and stir until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and vanilla extract. Add the egg mixture to the butter mixture and mix well.

In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped walnuts.

Pour the batter into the greased baking pan and spread it evenly.

Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
