Line a square baking pan with parchment paper.

In a heatproof bowl, combine the dark chocolate, sweetened condensed milk, and unsalted butter.

Place the bowl over a pot of simmering water, making sure the bottom of the bowl does not touch the water.

Stir the mixture until the chocolate and butter are melted and smooth.

Remove the bowl from heat and stir in the almonds, vanilla extract, and salt.

Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until the fudge is set.

Once set, remove from the pan and cut into squares.
