  2. In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x9-inch baking dish.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the baking dish.
  5. Spoon the cherry pie filling over the cream cheese mixture, and use a knife to swirl it into the batter.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature. Then refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until completely chilled.
