Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, beat the melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and almond extract.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until well combined.

Fold in the chopped almonds and dried cherries.

Shape the dough into a log and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.
