Cheesy Rice and Broccoli

Cook the rice according to package instructions.

In a separate pot, boil water and blanch the broccoli for 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the cooked rice, milk, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.

Add the cheddar cheese and stir until melted.

Add the blanched broccoli and mix well.

Let the mixture cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
