Gradually whisk in the vegetable broth and ale, making sure there are no lumps.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

Stir in the cheddar cheese until melted.

Add the milk, mustard powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.

Cook for an additional 5 minutes, until heated through.
