Celebration Cupcakes With Citrus Frosting

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk.

Stir in the lemon zest and orange zest.

Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean.

While the cupcakes are cooling, make the citrus frosting by whisking together the powdered sugar, lemon juice, and orange juice until smooth.

Once the cupcakes are completely cooled, frost them with the citrus frosting.
