Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions and spread it evenly in a greased baking dish.

In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Pour the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter in the baking dish.

Drizzle the caramel sauce over the cream cheese mixture and use a knife to swirl it into the batter.

In a small bowl, mix together the flour and salt. Sprinkle the mixture over the top of the batter.
