  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Add the brown sugar and stir until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, vanilla extract, and bourbon. Add this mixture to the butter and sugar mixture.
  4. In another bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking dish. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the batter and sprinkle half of the chopped pecans. Repeat with the remaining batter, caramel sauce, and pecans.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the blondies cool in the baking dish for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with sea salt flakes.
