In a large bowl, combine the cake batter, buttercream frosting, heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully combined.

Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Once the ice cream reaches a soft-serve consistency, add the sprinkles and continue churning for another minute.

Transfer the ice cream to a lidded container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
