Cake Banana Bread
Banana bread became popular during the Great Depression in the 1930s when housewives looked for ways to use overripe bananas instead of throwing them away.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 90 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 12.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.

In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.

Add the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Mix well.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.

Fold in the chopped walnuts.

Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan.

Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.

Transfer the cake banana bread to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
