Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Add the granulated sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir until well combined.

Add the vanilla extract and eggs to the mixture, one at a time, stirring well after each addition.

Gradually add the flour and mix until just combined. Fold in the walnuts and chocolate chips.

Pour the batter into the prepared pie dish and smooth the top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
