  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Cook until the butter turns golden brown and has a nutty aroma, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooled brown butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix until well combined.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the bowl. Mix until smooth.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  7. Fold in the white chocolate chips and M&M candies.
  8. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
