Brown Butter Sea Salt Blondies
Blondies are often referred to as ‘brownies without chocolate’, as they have a similar texture but are made without cocoa powder or chocolate chips.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a square baking pan with parchment paper.

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Continue cooking until the butter turns golden brown and has a nutty aroma. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the brown sugar and browned butter until well combined.

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the all-purpose flour and sea salt to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once cooled, cut into squares and sprinkle with additional sea salt, if desired.
