Brie and Caramelised Onion Tart
Brie cheese is named after the region in France where it originated, Brie.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Roll out the puff pastry sheet and place it in a tart pan.

Prick the pastry with a fork and blind bake for 10 minutes.

In a pan, melt the butter and add the sliced onions. Cook until caramelized.

Add the brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, thyme, salt, and black pepper to the caramelized onions. Cook for another 5 minutes.

Remove the tart shell from the oven and spread the caramelized onions evenly over the pastry.

Top with slices of Brie cheese.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Let the tart rest for 10 minutes before serving.
