  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet and place it in a tart pan.
  3. Prick the pastry with a fork and blind bake for 10 minutes.
  4. In a pan, melt the butter and add the sliced onions. Cook until caramelized.
  5. Add the brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, thyme, salt, and black pepper to the caramelized onions. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Remove the tart shell from the oven and spread the caramelized onions evenly over the pastry.
  7. Top with slices of Brie cheese.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Let the tart rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!
