Cook the rice according to package instructions.

In a pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pan and sauté until translucent.

Add the almonds to the pan and toast them until golden brown.

Once the rice is cooked, add it to the pan with the onions, garlic, and almonds.

Pour in the vegetable broth and season with salt and black pepper.
