  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, and salt. Cut in the unsalted butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. In a small bowl, beat the egg and vanilla extract together. Add the egg mixture to the flour mixture and mix until well combined.
  4. Press half of the dough into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  5. In another bowl, toss the fresh blueberries with cornstarch and lemon juice. Spread the blueberry mixture evenly over the dough in the baking dish.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix together the brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and remaining dough. Sprinkle this crumble mixture over the blueberries.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the baking dish for 30 minutes.
  9. Cut into bars and serve.
