  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Fold in the blueberries.
  5. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans. Smooth the tops with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
