  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until translucent.
  6. Add the onion and garlic mixture to the bowl of butter beans and mix well.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper.
  8. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  11. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
