Basic Stuffing
Stuffing is a traditional dish commonly served during Thanksgiving in the United States. It is believed to have originated from the ancient Romans who stuffed birds with a mixture of ingredients.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 70 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 10.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cut the bread into small cubes and spread them on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until golden brown.

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and celery, and cook until softened.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the toasted bread cubes, cooked onion and celery, parsley, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Gradually pour the broth over the bread mixture, stirring until well combined.

Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

Let the stuffing rest for 10 minutes before serving.
