  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a doughnut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Spoon the batter into the prepared doughnut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into a doughnut comes out clean.
  7. Allow the doughnuts to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. In a small bowl, mix together the powdered sugar and cinnamon.
  9. Dip each cooled doughnut into the cinnamon sugar mixture, coating all sides.
