Baked Pumpkin Doughnuts with Maple Cinnamon Glaze

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a doughnut pan.

In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture, alternating with milk. Stir until just combined.

Spoon the batter into the prepared doughnut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full.

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the doughnuts comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let the doughnuts cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, maple syrup, and cinnamon until smooth.

Dip each cooled doughnut into the glaze, allowing any excess to drip off. Place them back on the wire rack to set.
