Asparagus, Mushroom and Tomato Bake With Seasoned Cheese Sauce

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Trim the ends of the asparagus and cut into bite-sized pieces. Slice the mushrooms. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

Add the asparagus and mushrooms to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, until slightly tender. Season with salt and black pepper.

Transfer the cooked vegetables to a baking dish. Top with cherry tomatoes.

In a small bowl, mix together mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, and fresh basil. Sprinkle the cheese mixture over the vegetables.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
